The Harvia 4.5kW electric heater pairs perfectly with the sauna space; you can either choose for the heater to begin heating up right away or delay the start time up to eight hours. The attractive red cedar lumber is constructed with vertical and horizontal designs, which eliminates all visible fasteners. The Hillsboro’s sleek design guarantees a relaxing sauna experience, no matter which room you decide to place it.

Care & Maintenance

Traditional saunas require very little upkeep. Simply wipe down the interior after each use and check for any dust or debris that you may have tracked in. Read more about long-term care and maintenance here. 

Sauna Type

Heater and stones are essential to a traditional sauna experience. With the room at least heated to 160ºF, the traditional sauna can be enjoyed two ways. The first is called a dry sauna, which lacks any added moisture. The second is called a wet sauna, where you sprinkle water onto the heated stones to create a refreshing burst of steam and added humidity. Assembly

Mid-level handyman and assembly skills are recommended for this sauna. Minimal sawing or modifying certain components may be necessary during the assembly process. Two people can generally do the assembly in 6-8 hours. It is recommended that you review the installation manual in advance to familiarize yourself with the process.
